The Hobbit series movie, one of my favourite fantasy movie. "The Hobbit" is the prequel of the movie "The Lord of The Ring" which is quite interesting and attract the fans of "The Lord of The Ring". In "The Hobbit", An Unexpected Journey tells the tale of Bilbo Baggins , who is convinced by the wizard Gandalf to accompany thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, on a quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug. The part that most fascinate me, is the scene when Bilbo meet Gollum and that when the ring that Gollum have drop which pick up by Bilbo.
In my point of view, I think that Bilbo should kill Gollum instead of running away from it, because it can be harm when Gollum have the chance to kill Bilbo. Many might think that Bilbo have the feeling of mercy toward the Gollum was right but remember the Gollum is insane and have differ characteristic on it. It is good that Bilbo stole the magic ring from Gollum because it protect him whenever he is in trouble and selfish to tell others about the magic ring that he got.
In the episode of "The Desolation of Smaug", Bilbo help the dwarf to steal the Arkenstone from the dragon as he was recruited to be a burglar. Bilbo did stole the Arkenstone from the dragon but he chose to not pass the Arkenstone to Thorin. There is no point that the Bilbo should pass the Arkenstone to anyone as he try so hard to get the Arkenstone cause no one appreciating what he have done. He could be the one who become the king of the lonely mountain but he chose not to be. However he din't even realizing that those dwarf are only using him as a tools to get back the lonely mountain and putting him in a danger journey with them.
Throughout the Hobbit series movie, I felt that the desperation and deprivation of dwarf to reclaim the lonely mountain that ever owned by their ancestor is based on their greedy attitude to the wealthy and the power to take over the world. Well, this is good when the dwarf know how they can take advantage from Bilbo profession as a thief to assist them reclaiming the lonely mountain. Even thought, Bilbo get the magic ring and the Arkenstone which is powerful enough for him to control the dark power and could use it to kill others to build his own world but he did nothing to it. In short, we can see how silly that Bilbo keep helping those dwarf and even willing to risk his own live in it without any appreciation and benefit from them instantly.
